Argentine Soccer Legend Maradona as Wholesale Coach?

Those who have been following the Soccer, err Football, World Cup in South Africa have perhaps seen Argentine legend Diego Maradona in action. However, he is now the manager of the South American team and no longer plays for the team as he used to. But why he came into the picture when the supposed topic was wholesaling houses? Simple. He has the characteristics of a wholesale coach you should hire.

Knowledge. Although Mr. Maradona probably has nothing to do with real estate investing. His knowledge in the game of soccer is simply undeniable. He knows the basics from dribbling to kicking. He also knows more complicated stuff like perhaps, how to confront a goalie that’s coming straight toward you to steal the ball. In the same way, you should allow only a wholesale coach with the same knowledge of his craft to mentor you. A wholesale mentor knows the nuts and bolts of the business, from calling sellers, to signing contracts.

Experience. What perhaps makes Maradona perfect to manage the Argentina’s national team in the World Cup is his experience. In 1986, he led his team to win the Cup. He knows how it feels to be playing with the whole world staring at your every move. He knows how to handle the pressure and he can relay this wisdom to his players by citing his own experience. The same goes when picking a mentor for wholesaling houses. He must have closed numerous deals. Choose someone who has tried his own methods, not one who is only teaching them. Apart from the information, you’ll also get a handful of tips milked from experience from a pro.

Will. In 1986, Maradona scored an unpenalized handball at it was counted as a goal. But to make up for it, just a few minutes later after controversial incident, he scored another goal that was dubbed the “Goal of the Century.” He beat five defenders before shooting the ball past the goalkeeper. This is someone who inspires players to give their best. In wholesaling houses, you will surely encounter problems. But knowing your wholesale coach also encountered those hindrances before – and successfully hurdled them – should inspire you. How will you be inspired by a wholesale mentor who quickly gives up? This business is a numbers game and if you and your mentor quickly fold down to the wind, you really won’t go far.

Veteran Real Estate Investors as Your Wholesale Coach

Breaking into the competitive world of wholesaling houses and real estate investing is much easier with a wholesale coach by your side. What better way to learn how to flip houses than be under the tutelage of a master real estate investor, right? Being mentored by a seasoned investor has its upsides and downsides. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of this method of learning.

The first benefit of getting seasoned investors as your wholesale coach is it cuts your learning curve. What you would learn in years, you can learn in just months or even weeks. Seasoned investors have been in the business long enough to know what you need to learn and what you don’t need to hear. They will spare you from all the “unnecessary” education. Another benefit is that you’ll learn tried and tested methods. A wholesale mentor is someone who has already flipped a huge number of houses. He may or may not be active anymore. In any case, the deals he closed are testament that his methods work.

But then again, there’s always a downside to everything. If you hired a seasoned real estate investor, expect him to collect a huge fee. This is almost always understandable. In real estate investing, it is said that knowledge always beats money. If you have money but don’t know how to use it, for instance, to flip houses, then you won’t go anywhere. If you have knowledge, you’ll know where to get money; better yet, you’ll know how to close a deal with money down.

Another disadvantage is inconvenience. You are fortunate if your seasoned wholesale coach only mentors one or two students at a time. Chances are he’s mentoring a handful, especially if he is no longer active wholesaling houses and is only getting his living from coaching. The more students he has, the less time he will have for individual coaching. If you’re the type who likes to ask questions and clarifications, then you will have to be persistent just to get your questions answered. If you live far from them, then you’ll need to be driving a lot.

The good thing is, wannabe investors can now learn from real estate investors without that inconvenience. In fact, they can listen to these veteran investors even at the comfort of their own homes. That’s through the power of the Internet. There is a website that lets you watch videos of the wholesale mentor of your choice.

Check out REIWired.com right now and try watching real estate investing videos. It’s like being mentored by the best real estate coaches, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a your own home and convenience.
